The station core is the starting part of any station.
Station Modules are a module type in Lightspeed Frontier. They are the components that from the backbone of all space stations in the game. Their main difference is the neutronium hull plating which provides a much higher damage resistance but is unfortunately unviable for ships due to its heavy weight.
They are characteristically much larger and tend to provide different services accessible by the radial menu.
