Planets are a type of celestial object that spawn in star systems. Optionally a planet can be created with rings that contain asteroids.

Atmospheric Entry[ | ]
When a ship gets close to an atmospheric planet or a gas giant it will start to experience reentry effects. In version 1.14a the effect is non-damaging.
