The most basic cargo container.
Cargo Containers are a module type in Lightspeed Frontier. They store items that ships pick up. A breakthrough in approximately 2320 A.D. made traditional containers completely obsolete and were replaced by new matter to data and energy converters. Items stored in cargo can be managed using the inventory.
Working principles
Unlike traditional containers which store contents by enveloping them, these analyze and record the entire atomic structure of items, then store it in internal storage servers while converting the item itself into energy which is stored in internal capacitors.
On reaching critical structural integrity, these have a fail safe eject hook which will eject all stored items before the cargo module is destroyed.
